APPLYING AN EXTRAORDINARY DEGREE OF SERVICE AND EXPERIENCE

Elva joined Meridian in 2021, bringing over fifteen years of operations and compliance experience to the team. Shortly after graduating from college, Elva was given the opportunity to work with a small San Diego hedge fund, where she discovered an affinity for fixing and preventing trade settlement issues in their operations team. In 2008, she joined Imperial Capital, LLC’s operation department and eventually led the team, comprised of middle office and back office personnel across multiple locations, as Vice President of Operations. In 2016, she accepted an opportunity within the firm to expand her compliance skillset by serving as Assistant Vice President of Compliance. In 2018, she moved to Texas to further develop her compliance and operations knowledge at an Austin-based hedge fund.

Elva graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Arts in International Economics and International Development Studies. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, visiting family and friends in Southern California, hiking, camping and exploring the great outdoors.
