Sophie has ten years of wealth advisory and investment experience. Prior to joining Meridian in 2019, she served as the Northwest Regional Director for Sage Advisory Services, a boutique asset manager in Austin. In that role, she consulted financial advisors on development, positioning and implementation of customized fixed income investment strategies. Sophie began her career as a Financial Advisor with AXA in Los Angeles, where she specialized in retirement planning and risk management solutions.

Sophie attended Scripps College in Claremont, CA, graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology and Spanish. A Certified Financial Planner^™, Sophie takes a collaborative, detailed and compassionate approach to helping clients navigate their wealth strategy, so they can journey with confidence towards their goals.

A native Austinite, Sophie is passionate about supporting her community through volunteer work with local nonprofits, including Urban Roots, Inside Books Project and Mobile Loaves & Fishes. She has also served as Vice-President of the board of directors for Ten Thousand Villages of Austin and Finance Committee Chair for the board of directors for Heaven on Earth in Los Angeles. Sophie is an avid outdoorswoman and can often be found camping, hiking and kayaking around the Hill Country, or working in her garden with the help of her family, Andrew, their dog, Cu and their cat, Bocadillo. She is an active aunt and godmother to her two nieces in Switzerland.
